Questions about garden rooms
Do I need planning permission for a garden room?
Usually not, if it's single storey, used for things like an office or hobby room rather than a bedroom, and within the size and height limits for outbuildings. Being near a boundary, in a conservation area or at a listed building changes the rules. We'll talk it through when we quote, and the Planning Portal has the full detail.
Can you do the deck and fencing around it too?
Yes. That's the advantage of one team doing it all: the base, the building, the deck and the fence all line up.
